Information We Collect
When you use Forex Session Journal, we may collect the following information:
- Account data: email address and encrypted password when you create an account.
- Trade data: the trades, notes, screenshots, and journal entries you record in the platform.
- Usage data: page views, session duration, and feature interactions to improve the platform.
- Payment data: if you purchase a Pro plan, payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the trading journal platform
- Sync your trades to the cloud if you have a Pro account
- Improve platform features and user experience
- Send occasional product updates (you can opt out anytime)
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
Data Storage & Security
Your trade data is stored locally in your browser by default. Pro accounts also sync data to secure cloud servers hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — cloud database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies for essential functionality: authentication sessions and basic analytics. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Pro users can export or delete their cloud-synced trade data from the settings page.
